RankifyPro ("we", "us", "our") operates the website rankifypro.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, what we do not do with it, and the rights you have over your data. This Policy applies only to the rankifypro.com website. It does not cover third-party sites linked from RankifyPro.

1. Information We Collect

a) URLs you submit to the SEO checker

When you paste a URL into our on-page SEO score checker, the URL is transmitted to our server, used to fetch the target page once for analysis, and then discarded. The URL is not written to a database, log file, analytics pipeline, or third-party service.

b) Contact form submissions

If you contact us via the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional subject line, and message body. This information is stored in our database for the sole purpose of allowing our team to reply to you.

c) Server access logs

Our hosting provider, like virtually every web host, maintains short-term access logs that include the IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, response status, and referring URL of each request. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and performance debugging, and are typically rotated within 14–30 days.

d) Cookies and similar technologies

RankifyPro itself sets one cookie-equivalent local-storage value (rp_cookie_pref_v1) to remember your cookie-banner choice. We do not set any first-party tracking, analytics or remarketing cookies. Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense — see Section 3.

2. How We Use the Information

• SEO audits: URLs are used once for analysis and immediately discarded.
• Contact replies: Email/name/message used only to respond to your inquiry.
• Security and abuse prevention: Server logs allow us to detect and block malicious activity (DDoS, scraping bots, spam submissions).
• Service improvement: Aggregate, non-identifying server statistics may inform tool performance work.

We do not sell, rent, lease, share or trade your personal data to or with third parties. We do not engage in cross-site tracking or "data brokering" of any kind.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

RankifyPro is funded by Google AdSense advertising. Google may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve advertisements based on your prior visits to our site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info for the broader industry opt-out.

Google’s use of your data when interacting with AdSense ads is governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Google’s data practices and you should consult their policy for details.

If you are visiting RankifyPro from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google AdSense uses its Consent Management Platform to obtain consent for personalised ads. Our cookie banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.

4. Data Retention

• SEO audit URLs: Not retained. Discarded immediately after analysis.
• Contact submissions: Retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry, then deleted on request or after 24 months of inactivity.
• Server logs: Typically 14–30 days, then rotated and deleted by the hosting provider.
• Cookie preferences: Stored client-side in your browser; cleared when you clear site data.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the EEA, UK, California or any jurisdiction with similar privacy law, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.

6. Children’s Privacy

RankifyPro is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our hosting infrastructure may store and process data in jurisdictions outside your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards to ensure adequate protection.

8. Security

We protect data with HTTPS encryption in transit, server-side input sanitisation, prepared statements for all database queries, and rate-limiting on submission endpoints. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

Articles on RankifyPro may link to external websites (Google Search Central, web.dev, Schema.org, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
